Beautiful! And it works! I was more than pleased when I opened the box and even more elated that it wasn't broken. I had purchased similar clocks from retail stores and when I got them home I found the hand mechanisms broken. This clock seems to be a better quality, keeps great time and also looks beautiful! My assumption is only if it is truly protected from moisture. It isn't really made to be out in the weather.

I wouldn't . If it were in an enclosed area, such as a porch, I think it would be fine. Very pretty clock.
