This is not wide enough to use over a mattress alone, but over a fountain would look great. It is wood though and would not stand up to being outside.

Re below questions. I look at every email from Kirkland's. I would order on line but have not because I have been afraid the product would not be what I liked or would not be as it appears on line. I do not live near a Kirland Store. The closest Kirkland Store is either in Tucson AZ or El Paso TX. I used to shop often when I lived in Newport News, VA - when there was a store in the Patrick Henry Shopping Center. I love the products Kirkland sells. I am really interested in ordering the Blue Gate Plaque, Thank you for your help! Mimibuck

I was skeptical also about the size, but I love mine. I am using on a wall that joins my living room and the rest of the house. I have an art collection on the wall in the living room, but I needed something in the bare space down the hall. Well worth it!
