Love the lamp! This is the prettiest torchiere I have ever seen. And the lighting from it is perfect. My only disappointment is that the catalog originally said it took a 3-way bulb. It does not. But even so, it is a great lamp. The 3-way would have been icing on the cake, but the cake is great anyway! Recommend it highly! April 3, 2013

Yes. I use LCD bulbs and they are great. Just be sure to use bulbs that aren't just up-lights so that you can have all-around light (if that's what you prefer).
