Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turquoise Owl tart burner night light Bought this for my 12 year old daughter who loves both owls and the color turquoise. She had seen similar burners elsewhere that were much more expensive and not nearly as cute. She loves it. It is working very well and is very well worth the price. Very happy with this product. Would definitely reccommend it to any one who is thinking about purchasing it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will Not Turn Off I received this owl burner as a present. It is so adorable and it was perfect in my kitchen! After a couple of weeks, the burner would not turn off. I pulled it apart and made sure everything was connected properly. Still, the burner will not turn off. I have flipped the on/off switch and it still continues to stay on. Once it turns off, it will periodically turn back on. We finally had to throw it away because it was too dangerous to leave plugged in. We tried plugging it in when we wanted to use it but once we wanted to turn it off, we would have to unplug it and since the wax holder isn't deep, the wax would spill out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cute but Not Lasting :0\ I actually purchased 3 of these nightlights about a month ago and already 2 of them have stopped working and is broken. After plugging these cuties into the wall I haven't even bother them/moved them at all. Only thing I've done is refill the wax. I noticed on 1 the light no longer works and the other the socket area is broken. I love them, however they are not functional and not even worth the money I paid. Really disappointed with this purchase. I would not sell these Kirkland, the quality is not great. They look nice, but apparently does not hold up well. :0\

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't Work My sister loves owls. I thought this would be a great gift for her. I gave it to her for her birthday. When she took it home to use it that night, it didn't work correctly. It turned on and when she switched it off with the switch, it didn't turn off. It constantly stayed on if plugged in. I contacted the company about it and they never responded. I was very disappointed, even more so that they couldn't contact me back. I will be returning it this weekend for a refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Heavy for Outlet! I was thrilled to come across this tart burner in the Kirkland's store. I grabbed two, one for me, and one to mail as a gift to an owl-obsessed friend. When I got home I immediately went to plug it in and it just fell out of the outlet completely. It's too heavy for the outlets. I was able to "steady" it but it still slanted forward enough that any wax would pour out of it. Very disappointed. Now I have to drive an hour and a half to return it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this! I bought this last August but after seeing all the bad reviews, decided to add to it. I only had mine around a month when it stopped working. The light would not stay on and it is so flimsy that I had hot wax spilling out onto the floor! (yes I only used one small square of wax). This is a very poorly made product. Wouldn't it be nice of Kirklands to give us all a store credit? I don't appreciate throwing hard earned money away!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cute product - too bad it didn't hold up I had this owl night light/burner and used it for about 3 days. The smells were very strong (in a good way) in the beginning. Then I noticed it wasn't smelling as strong and the wax was melting all over the place. I looked closer to figure out what was going on, and there was a crack throughout the product. So now I have a wax mess, and a broken item I just hope they will take back. It's too bad, because I think it's adorable!

How long can I keep it turned on?

I was just wondering if there is a time limit safety wise as to how long I can keep it turned on? I obviously would not have it turned on if I am not in the same room.
Asked by: fireflyhillary
I keep my lights on for a 2-3 hours at a time, just to add a nice scent to my home. I don't use it through the night since I have wax on them. I don't want it to get too warm. They do get pretty warm after that amount of time, but I've never had any issues with them. I don't think I'd leave them on overnight, though, personally.
