Bronze Hanging Wall Lantern, 23 in.
This lantern displays my mothers antique doll perfectly
For a long time I had been trying to find a way to display my mother's antique Shirley Temple cowgirl doll. My dad had given it to her when they were engaged, back in the mid 1930's. A glass dome just seemed to make her look like a science speciman. One evening while browsing Kirklands in Albuquerque for another project, I saw this lantern, on sale, just waiting for me. I added a bit of silk flowers in one corner and stood the doll in it with her huge cowgirl hat propped against her. It's perfect, allowing me to see my special keepsake in an elegant "home", yet protecting her from the elements. As fun and beautiful as the Kirkland stores are, be sure to look at their inspiring displays with other possible uses in mind.

Nice lantern, a little delicate.
This lantern looks very nice. You can't hold it by the handle on top, however, as the metal is very thin and flexible. I used an LED candle which works with a remote control in it and then set the lantern above my kitchen cabinets. The mirrored back makes one candle look like two when the candle is lit.

Broken - bent - cracked
This product was poorly made. Upon returning to store - most all were defective in one way or another.
