Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dining Room Chairs I purchased an antique oak table and have been on the look out for some antique oak chairs to go with it. Problem is, I needed 8 and that's almost impossible to find without getting a second mortgage or selling your first born. So, when I got an email from Kirkland's and these were featured, I knew I found the perfect substitute until I found what I really wanted. Bought the first one at the store to make sure it would look okay and then ordered the others. Was a little apprehensive about putting them together especially when I saw the instructions. Instructions nowadays come with only pictures, no words so you have to figure that out. And then...I turned over the seat and wondered how on earth I was going to attach the legs! There's fabric covering the bottom of the chair (which is nice) but I couldn't see any way to screw in the legs. HELPFUL HINT: The fabric is velcroed onto the bottom of the chair!! So, just pull it back and begin assembling. I like them so much, I may not even worry about antique chairs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Look nice but just ok quality I bought 2 of these chairs to go on both ends of my dining room table as accents. When they arrived, the box was pretty beat up but the chairs were in fine condition. They were easy to assemble, however, as I was putting the second chair together, the legs fit incredibly loose into the holes and the one hole was cut so crookedly there was no way for the leg to sit straight in place and tilted out noticeably when I stood the chair up. I sent that one back and within a week received a new chair. The legs fit better into the second chair, however, on this one the fabric that was supposed to cover the batting/padding underneath where the leg was inserted was sticking out. Because it doesn't affect the functionality of the chair I decided it wasn't worth the hassle to send it back again. Basically, they look nice and serve their purpose, but the quality is definitely just ok, and I'm glad I got them on sale as I would've been even more disappointed had I paid full price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Super disappointed The actual color of the chairs look nothing like the picture. I know we are to expect slight variations depending on each computer's screen, but the one pictured leans more towards a lighter, white color. What we got was tan. That's a very big difference and it was absolutely deceiving. Furthermore, I wouldn't pay regular price for this. If you do decide to get it, wait until it's 25% off. The chair is small enough to fit someone who is 5'3 like me but for someone weighing 180 lbs or being 6 feet tall, this may be uncomfortable for them...not to mention looking ridiculous. The chair is very light weight and doesn't seem like it can withstand someone who is heavier set. I love the french nails and the overall look of it, but I didn't like the trim on the back. If it weren't for the price and the wooden legs that match our dining table, I would've definitely have returned it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad for the price The fabric is slightly darker in person than the picture shows online. It's more of a beige than a cream. I ordered a total of 6 chairs for my dining room. Two of them were damaged, but I decided to keep them rather than pay shipping to send them back. Overall I am satisfied with these chairs, especially for the price. I found them on sale and used a coupon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for! These chairs were just what I was looking for. I have a mission style table and since moving, I was trying to update the look with a new sideboard and parsons chairs. They are a classic linen color and fabric. So a ecru color. The legs are a honey oak color, which matches my dining room table and chairs. I looked at several places for awhile and couldn’t beat the price and style of these. With tax, shipping and handling they came to $100 for 2. Now the downside, they are smaller than I expected. I don’t mind since my family aren’t tall people, we are average height. They are a light weight for a dining room chair, I don’t mind since they are flanking my sideboard and not the main chairs or everyday chairs we will use. But I could see my young son knocking them over easily if we used them everyday. I had so issues putting them together. Easy instructions and everything is level and a secure fit. I would recommend them to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointment I decided a few days before Thanksgiving, since I was the host, to replace my dining room chairs with these parson chairs. I read the reviews, but decided to take a chance. The store only had 7 chairs, one being a display chair, and I needed 6. Since the display chair was damaged with upholstery fraying from a stud, I needed the remaining chairs , purchased them and took home. The first box I opened and pulled out the back of a chair, I found that the back was missing all of the padding! There was just upholstery wrapped around the two side boards of the frame and finished with the stud detail! I had to take them all back to the store for a refund, since there would not be 6 chairs I needed. That same day I found another major furniture store with similar parson chairs made in better quality and for less money. How could quality control MISS the fact that the padding hadn't been put in the chair?!

What is the fabric color of these chairs?

There are two pictures shown for this chair, the first one is significantly more tan than the second picture. Do the chairs more closely resemble the first picture of the second picture? Thank you.
Asked by: Gwen
The fabric does look more of the tan/sand color than the ivory in the picture. I bought 2 of these chairs and the fabric are a lot more tan than what was shown but they still look good in my dining room as I pair them with the metal bistro chairs from RH. You can look into my review section and I posted a photo of my dining room with these parsons chairs. Hope this help!

Is the sand (color) more on the beige, oatmeal, cream or tan side? How dark is it?

Asked by: DAKOTA GIRL
It's definitely not on the lighter side. I bought this thinking it was more of a cream color as it shows in the picture. But when I got it, it was beige/tan. So disappointed.

Screws gets loose?

I have bought a dining table with 6 chairs from Roomstogo. They are leather made and looks great but the problem is, the screws gets loose very often. Does not matter how tight you have screwed them, they still come loose and you can see the chair legs wobble. I want to know if anyone has these chairs , do the screws come loose?
Asked by: Sami
Ours are fine, No problems yet. They are about 9 months old. Used daily as desk chairs in childrens rooms.
