Sunday Pancakes Triple Wick Jar Candle is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 75.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from #FAIL: Kirklands has reverse-improved this candle This candle used to contain 4 oz. more candle and was $2.00 cheaper. The previous form factor burned near perfectly, with a single wick, and put out lots of scent — even in a vaulted-ceiling room. Now, it's shorter, contains 4 oz. less wax, contains 3 wicks that are ENTIRELY too close together, and will burn away a minimum of 2.5x the speed of the original. Yet we now are charged more for less, all boasting "now contains soy wax!". Yay. Oh, and a shiny lid. woohoo.I am hugely disappointed. Whomever decided that 3 wicks placed an inch from each other is the proper formation and wick number for this diameter candle likely does not know how candle wicking works. This candle should last at least double the labeled 50 hours, but that's only if you use the right number of proper-diameter wicks. #FAIL I loved your candles before. Please don't charge us more for a lesser product and try to promote it as an improvement.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The smell has changed. I bought the Sunday Pancakes candle at the beginning of fall but it was in the taller glass holder and it smelled so wonderful. They smelled just like fresh, homemade pancakes and it put the fall ambiance in my kitchen and great room. So, I bought 2 more right before Thanksgiving because I was hosting Thanksgiving dinner and I loved the way the candle made my home smell. The new ones were in the new shorter glass holder. They smelled completely different. The actually smelled like burned pancakes...I was so disappointed. I don't know if the style change has anything to do with the change of the fragrance but I do not like the smell of the new ones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smells great cold...but smells like urine while it is lit. We bought 2 of this fragrance: smells good cold, but each time we lit it, we were smelling something weird, and had difficulty putting a finger on what it was. It actually smelled of urine, while burning. We kept thinking "Where is that coming from?", as we have no pets. I finally realized it was this candle. I returned it it to the store. We only had it about a week. The manager told me she can't take back something that was used. I was thinking, well, how do I know if whether or not I like something if I don't use it, but I did not say anything. She was clear she did not believe me. She asked me if I wanted it back. I told her I don't want it back, she can throw it away, I should have told her to burn it at her home and see how she likes it. Obviously, we won't buy the candles again, may not even be back to the store again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from poor burning quality The new 3 wick format of the wonderful Kirkland candles is very disappointing. The wicks burn to low (short) to sustain the flames and the wax flows over the wick putting out one or more of the flames. It is very disappointing. I have found this issue to be accurate in the 6 candles I have burned in the 3 wick format. It seems to be consistent in all candles and flavors. I prefer the former 1 wick candles - they burned all the way to the end of the wax with no issues. The aroma is still wonderful, but the quality of the candle has greatly diminished.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Charging more for less? 90% of my Kirkland purchases for the past couple of years were for the Sunday Pancake candles. I was looking forward to buying my usual 15-20 candles as Christmas gifts this year. I was saddened this past weekend to see the candles are now 4 ounces less than the original candles and two dollars more. Needless to say, I'll be looking for alternative gifts to give this year, and will probably shop there less (or probably not at all now).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from burnt pancakes I love Kirkland's candles. But the pancakes was terrible! First night was great. Second night-made the whole house smell like burnt pancakes! Even had to replace air filters.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Change isnt always good I was a Kirkland candle addict , especially the Sunday pancakes! I liked the tall candles and switched to Kirklands because of the height of the candles, the long burns and the yummy fragrance. The new styles burn unevenly and they burn for a far shorter length of time, the jar is quite pretty but the candle is inferior by far. Will not purchase again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smells good Although it smelled good, the candle didn’t burn long due to the wax kept coming up and would put the flame out only after it was lit for 5 minutes, not worth the money..

Why did you change and mess up what *was* a perfect candle?

This candle used to burn perfectly. Now somebody decided they needed to redesign it and ruin it. Too many wicks too close together. It doesn't need more than one wick, and it used to contain more wax. WHY, WHY would you make "improvements" to a product that 1) is not broken, 2) beloved, and 2) employ improvements are actually mistakes that mess up the performance of the product? I'd truly like to know. Did nobody test and compare the "improved" version's performance with its predecessor's?

Totally disagree. 3 wicks gives off more light and more scent.
