Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality control I took a chance and ordered this item since there were so many positive reviews. I had to order three to get one worth keeping. The first one had a leg 1/2 shorter than the others. The second one had a drawer that wouldn't open as well as a crack in the black paint on the front. The third one was cut unevenly on the top which detracted from it's appearance, but it did not wobble and all the drawers opened so I considered it the lesser of the evils and kept it. This item cannot be shipped to your house, you have to pick it up in store which is a pain if you are like me and don't live close to a store. Nice style, lousy manufacturing. Products should not arrive at the store damaged and with defects. The style, like I said, is nice. It is not very deep which is great for narrow spaces. The problem comes in with the manufacturing quality control. I understand this is inexpensive furniture, but it would also be nice furniture if it was manufactured correctly. These items should at least be functional out of the box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect in a hallway or as a TV stand Bought this chest for extra storage in a studio apartment. It's stylish enough for the living area but provided extra storage. The drawers are not very deep and they don't easily glide in or out. Still, it looks great and stores extra towels, t-shirts, socks, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Design Our his and hers chests works great for what we wanted them for, which is in our closet. The drawers are smooth on opening if you use both pulls at the same time on the longer drawers. They are not on rollers since these chests are not deep. You will need to wipe out the drawers and put in a liner if you're storing fabrics which we are (sock, nightgowns, t-shirts, etc). We purchased two chest in black in the box from the store. Once home we found one was damaged and exchanged it with no problem the next day. The chest is sturdy and is nicely made. Its the lack of thicker Styrofoam in the packaging causing the damage to the product during shipping. I can see why so many are damaged after unpacking the chest. I hope you continue to make these but have the manufacturer use better packing material for shipping. I'm considering the robin egg blue for the guest room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product has some good and some not so good First, the good. It is a perfect size for the space that I have and narrow enough. Really liked the dark distressed wood. Good value, as it was on sale. Looks very nice. Now, for the not so good. The quality of this chest leaves a lot be desired. It is on the flimsy side and cracks and chips easily. Ordered one and had it shipped to the store and it was cracked around the drawer area. The manager and assistant managers at my local Kirkland's were great! THANKS LADIES! They ordered another chest and when it arrived it did not have any cracks. The drawers on the chest pull open but this unit is definitely not made for every day use. The drawers are wood on wood with no railing so they do not slide open easily. Was being so careful when I set the chest up and, even as careful and gentle as I was being, the chest chipped a small bit at the bottom on the side by the feet. I will keep this chest as it fits so nicely and is just narrow enough. But, If you are looking for a chest that you want to use on a daily basis, I don't believe this is the one. If you are looking for something that won't be moved much and you won't have to open and close the drawers on very often, then this chest will be a good choice. It is such a shame, this could be the perfect chest if it was a better quality item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size for this tiny space You can't find a chest of drawers this narrow. It had to be less than 13 inches deep to fit into this niche in the wall (see pictures) but this piece did perfectly. The piece it's is just average. This is not a piece to use on a daily basis, opening and shutting the drawers makes the whole thing wobble, but in a guest room it is fine. I might switch out the door knobs to make this "pop" a bit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Right depth we were looking for! We have been searching for a smaller depth dresser/table for my mother's senior living unit for awhile and this did the trick. She needed something for her smaller bedroom to use to place her TV on so she could enjoy from the comfort of her bed. She was using a small end table but she was tired of seeing all the wires hanging. This dresser hides those wires nicely. She only uses a few of the smaller drawers right now to store items like the remote. Some of the drawers kinda stick under humid conditions so not sure if you would want to use it for daily accessing items (unless maybe rubbing some soap on the wood?). It is a nice piece for the price and I had it it shipped to the store so I could inspect before hauling it to her place. Everything was intact, stable and it is very sturdy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of junk! This has been in use for 1.5 weeks. I placed this in my bedroom to be used for socks, underwear, and Pj's. Within that short time frame small cracks have developed in the corners by the drawers. Product is very cheaply made. Very disappointed as it is an inconvenience to return to the store which is 45 mins away.
