Antique Scroll Clock is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Appears beautiful, but quality is poor First of all, the Roman Numeral for four is IV, not IIII. Regardless of that idiotic mistake, I bought the clock and it looked great in the huge wall space above my kitchen cabinets. I had the contractor of my house hang the clock because it did not come with hardware and I placed it so high. My contractor spent a long time trying to hang the clock. However, the clock still came crashing down. Glass shattered everywhere, frame busted, and it took a big chunk out of my hardwood floors and a cabinet drawer. Luckily, my kids were out of the room. The clock is not very heavy, but the hook on the back of the clock is not very big and cannot be easily mounted to the wall. It would be better if there were a wire across the back or metal brackets that would help hang it on the wall securely.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Having to change battery every few days This is such a beautiful clock for the price. The problem is it only takes a AA size battery. I'm not sure if that's why I'm having to change the battery every two or three days. The batteries last no time and I'm guessing its bc of the size of the clock. I would've thought a clock that big would require a bigger battery.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful Clock just incorrect Roman numerals The #4 should be IV not IIII. I would love to hang it but my well educated friends would think I'm stupid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this clock!! This clock is Beautiful. I was in Kirkland's and noticed it and loved the style and the large size of clock. It goes with other decor in my house very well. I never seen a clock shaped like this. I also like that it has a glass front and the back is well made. The only thing I would change is, the hands seem to be really cheaply made and I would make the casing out of solid wood not hard wood plastic. About the two saying the #4 is not suppose to be IIII. Go look at any roman number clocks and see If you se the IV you say it suppose to be. Also, the pic does not do this clock justice. It looks small in pic but it's very large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Clock I was looking for a clock for our newly renovated Hall, at the Homeowners Association I am manager of. I needed a large elegant looking clock at a great price. This clock fit my needs exactly. I have had many compliments on this clock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great deal Love this clock! I got it for Christmas last year and it still works great. For the price you cannot beat the looks and size of this piece. Great for a large wall you need to fill

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Absolutely beautiful! This clock is gorgeous! A perfect eye-catcher for the living room! The only problem I had was the hands were too close together and would catch and then stop keeping time. I was able to remove all of the screws on the back (and there are a lot!) to take it off the glass cover and bend the arms back to where they are supposed to be. Now it works like a charm and definitely looks higher quality than what I paid!

Answer:
I did, but I still liked the appearance and was placing it high enough that I did not think many people would notice. I always noticed it though.

Using IIII is a widely used and accepted format in roman numerals. Many clock makers and retailers use this!
