Antiqued Bronze Wall Clock is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty clock but the numbers are impossible to see. When you are right in front of the clock, looking directly at it, you can tell the time. But from anywhere else in the room it's next to impossible. The color of the face of the clock and the hands are too close in color and its hard to differentiate between them. Other an that, it's very pretty. It's more of a decor accent piece than a functional clock though, for the reasons stated above. I am going to try and take the clock apart to see if I can paint the face and numbers a lighter color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too hard to read I liked the look of this clock online, but once we hung it in our living room we noticed it's very difficult to see the hands since they are dark and so is the face of the clock. We moved it to a wall that gets more light, but it's still not easy to read. It also doesn't sit flat against the wall - the part for hanging it isn't that great. I would recommend only getting this clock if you plan to hang it in a bright room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is beautiful! We bought this clock when our other clock stopped working. We love it! It's beautiful. Everyone who walks in to our home thinks its beautiful. The only issues which to us our very minor is that the glass should be non-reflective and the numbers are a little hard to read in certain lights. But this really doesn't bother us because the clock was for our formal dinning room which we use mainly at night. So we recommend this clock. If you have a Kirkland's in your area go check it out in the store and you'll fall in love with it as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs good lighting, but great value. I agree, this clock needs good lighting, but we love it! Had a little trouble figuring out how to hang it (there is a "peg" on the back with a keyhole for hanging).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can't read the time The colors on the clock hands is the same as the face so its almost impossible to tell the time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very difficult to read... I loved the look of this clock online, and it does fit my decor very well. But when it arrived and we hung it, we realized we couldn't see the hands at all! The hands are black, and the clock face is a beautiful mix of bronzes and browns. Beautiful colors, but the mixture makes the hands virtually unreadable in any light. I did manage to find a small jewelry armoire and an up light to place underneath it. That helps some, but I don't want to have that light on all the time. It's a gorgeous decorative piece and keeps good time--but it's hard to see, and hard to take down and change the time when daylight saving time begins and ends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice clock This clock goes beautifully in my living room. It keeps time well, as I am replacing a clock that ran slow. The face seems to appear somewhat plastic-like from certain angles, a little poor antique like look, but still nice for the price. I would definately purchase it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice looking wall clock! Overall, a very nice looking wall clock, however, due to the color of the background of the clock and the color of the hands on the clock, you're unable to see the time on the clock once it's hanging on the wall and you see it from across the room.

How do you hang this clock?

There is no hanger or anything on the back to hang it up with.....
Asked by: Pattio333
There's a spot in the back of the clock to hang it from. It's a small plastic piece with a hole in it for the nail or screw to do through. Just make sure the head of the nail or screw will fit through the hole before hanging.it takes some maneuvering to get it hung.

Can the clock be put on a stand (instead of wall mounted) and still function well?

We are planning to put this clock on our mantel. We have a stone fireplace and my husband does not really prefer drilling a hole on the stone to wall mount the clock so I am thinking of getting a stand for the clock. My only concern is: if the clock is on a stand, it will be slightly at an angle and not flat on a wall - will this affect the clock's function at all? (I apologize if that was a dumb question.)
Asked by: Marlene
the clock is freestanding! It comes on its own 'base' and very sturdy- no hanging or separate stand required. We have it on our mantle.

Is the face easily accessible?

I like the clock, but even on here its hard to see the time. Is it possible to get inside the clock and either paint the hands or the numerals a more contrasting color? Without damaging it of course.
Asked by: Justy
Hi Justy, We would not recommend opening the clock and trying to re-assemble; it may not work after doing so. We apologize for any inconvenience! Thank you for reaching out to us, we hope this helps!
