Rated 5 out of 5 by WendyJo Pleasantly surprised for the money
This table in NOT flimsy as mentioned in another review. It's more black with slight bronze accent than actually a bronze finish. The top is NOT laminate it's more of a composite wood material that feels exactly like real wood. The top is distressed wood and the appearance is more of a driftwood or barnwood. It's very stylish and perfect as an accent table. Easy assembly and lightweight, but sturdy and stable. For the money you will be pleasantly surprised and happy with it. I receive compliments on this table every time someone sees it.

I purchased this table a couple of months ago to go in my foyer area. I love it! It looks beautiful with our dark hardwood floors and light colored walls. It's sturdy and well made.
Does require a little bit of assembly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Montgomery This Table is Flimsy
When I saw this item online, I thought it was going to be solid wood and metal. I read the item description of "bronze finish with a light walnut tabletop" and thought it meant the legs were made of bronze and the tabletop was made of walnut. This is not so. The legs are made of some very lightweight hollow metal (felt like aluminum) and the tabletop is some kind of laminate faux-wood. Apparently, "bronze" and "walnut" are colors, rather than materials.
It is very lightweight, which is good if you are only using the table to decorate a hallway or something. But it is too lightweight to sit anything on the surface without damaging the "walnut finish".
