Beautiful Just bought a king size bed and needed large lamps to fit with the size of the bed and large nightstands. I saw this lamp and knew it would be perfect. Love the color because it is very unique. I did not want a dark base, silver base or a color base but I wanted it to match dark furniture and a blue comforter and it does perfectly. It has a silver/bronze look to it and looks very expensive. It really completed the look of the bed. I also just bought two new sofas for my great room and tried them in that room. They looked so good I am going to get two more. The lamp is very sophisticated looking and is great if you are looking for a larger sized lamp. December 22, 2012

Answer: 
The base is 7 ¼ in. The total height of this lamp is 32?. If you place on a 25? table it will be 57? tall and the average floor lamp is 60-64?. I would say this is fine, but it depends on the chair height as well.
