I cannot believe what excellent quality this is. A lamp of this quality would normally be at least $300. No one can believe it came from Kirklands and I have had numerous people want to go buy one only to find that it isn't carried anymore. So sad! It is hard to find quality made items these days as everything seems to be made of cheap resin. Give me something that will last and I can repaint to fit my decor over the years. This is that exact lamp. PLEASE KIRKLANDS, BRING IT BACK! I will buy more. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Decorate123 Fantastic quality; fantastic value
This floor lamp is sturdy, stylish and very well made--a statement piece, as well as being functional. It is real wood (not resin), much chunkier than it appears and very similar to architectural lamps sold by high end home decorating stores--but at a fraction of the cost. It comes very well packed, and assembly takes about 10 minutes (with a helper). The lamp comes unfinished and can be left that way or painted or stained. The burlap drum shade is included with the lamp, unlike at high end stores where lamp shades must be purchased separately. The 150 max wattage is bright enough to light the darkest area. Overall, fantastic quality at a fantastic price. You won't find a wooden floor lamp of this quality for a better price. I bought a set of two and am extremely pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mschmitz Substantial lighting piece in design, quality and function.
Bought this after searching for months for a chunky, stylish floor lamp for under $500 for my home office. Really wanted a substantial and functional light stained a dark provincial tone to accent the wood, stacked stone and leather in my home office. Loved this at first sight except for the stain. Just a light sanding, a coat of stain and sealer turned this "pretty" into a "beauty." Everyone tries to buy it from me. Even better, the store associate gave me the idea of staining it. Thanks!
