Ceramic Tabletop Owl Night Light
I guess you get what you pay for?
Overall, this owl is beautiful. I ordered it online and was surprised when it was about twice the size I was expecting it to be. I read the dimensions of the product but still didn't fully realize how big it would be. Considering I got this on sale, I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. The owl has a nice midnight blue frosting that the website doesn't do justice. It will be beautiful sitting up on a mantle or a dresser.
The reason I gave it a poor review is because the light that came with the owl, was shorted out and didn't work. I got the bulb to flicker on three times but it would go off as soon as I removed my hand from the cord. Deciding to just replace the cord with one of the many cords I have with my Christmas decorations, I turned the owl over, went to pull the light out, only to realize the light was barely latched onto the bottom of the owl and was slipping inside. This ordinarily wouldn't be a big deal except the metal prongs/latches/whatever they're called, were really stiff and I couldn't get a hold of them and squeeze them hard enough to just pull the light out. (I would hate to think an elderly person would get a light fixture as difficult to move and manipulate as mine.) I went to grab a pair of needle nose pliers so I could get a good firm hold, but it was too late. So I now have a beautiful owl that doesn't light up. I'll be able to get the light out but that's not the point. The quality of the light fixture that goes into this owl is awful. Thankfully the owl is full of little decorative holes for the light to shine out. I'll be able to use those to help me dig the light out. It's just a shame because I shouldn't have to.

Owl Night Light
Like the color and size of the night light but NOT the light bulb.
