Very Pretty Bigger than it looks picture does not do it justice. actually looks much more expensive. June 9, 2013
It looks so cute on my back door I bought a white 'over the door hook' (one that was slightly longer than most) and hung the arrangement on the outside on my back door. Wish I could attach a photo for you to see. I secured it with duct tape to the hanger and poked some ivy type hanging greenery into the styrofoam inside the planter. The ivy droops down a bit and adds dimension. So far so good. Where I put it doesn't get alot of wind or rain so it should last. Golly, for that price, I'm not going to worry if it doesn't. Way to go Kirkland's....You're the BEST. FYI: I do wish the back of the planter was flat so it would lay better against the window of the door but I bent it slightly and it worked. May 23, 2013

Answer:
Generally, Kirkland’s products are not intended for outside use, unless the it is specifically marked as being outdoor safe. Look for phrases like “Suitable for outdoor use” on product packaging or hangtags for more details. Even in these cases, it is always best to keep items under a covered porch area rather than directly in the sun and other weather elements.

Answer:
I have my Wall Pocket with Daisies outside in a sheltered area, secured well to an over the door hanger on my back door. I don't think the hanger attached on this planter/pocket itself is sufficient enough for what you have in mind. I had to put some duct tape under the flowers so the wind wouldn't pull them out of the styrofoam inside the planter. Plus, the back of the planter isn't flat. I don't know what the outside elements will do to the metal after being exposed for a while. I thought about painting the metal with an all-weather, marine type lacquer, but, just wanted to get it outside to enjoy as is. I love it and wish it were made for hanging outdoors but that would cost more.
