Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect entry piece Love this pew bench. Well made and easy to assemble. So perfect for any home entry. If you're considering this piece of furniture, you will not be disappointed. I got the brown stained pine, and have some really pretty pillows on it, and I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a narrow space We needed a bench with a back that would fit in a narrow space. This fit perfectly! It seems sturdy and looks nice. It was pretty simple to put together and it was packed really well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern farmhouse style I love the look of the bench and it was easy to put together! It’s perfect for our space. We needed something for a long plain wall; now I just need some art above and it will be complete. I got it on sale so that made it even better! The only downside is that the weight limit is 300lbs. So two people sitting on the bench will likely be the limit. I don’t think this will be a problem much for us, but just a thought for those who will use it primarily for sitting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Sturdy I am very pleased with this bench. It is substantial and heavy and seems to be able to hold the weight it claims (300 pds). It put together easily and looks great in my foyer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great additional seating decor My daughter in law has been searching for an antique church pew for additional seating in her home. This is great additional seating for the limited space in their living space. With a modern/farmhouse touch, this bench blends perfectly.

Is this actual wood or or is it wood composite? Does it have a shiny/glossy finish or matte finish?

Asked by: S_cle
Definitely matte. It is heavy, and it appears to be real wood, Very well made.

How much does the bench weigh? Is it solid pine?

Asked by: Murph
Heavy, that's all I know. I think this info might be on the listing. Looks like solid pine, but I'm not sure. I would check with the manufacturer. Does NOT look cheap at all, or I would have returned it. Really good buy.

Can this be used on a covered porch or is it indoor only?

Asked by: Kris
You'd have to see what the manufacturer recommends, but I personally would not put it outdoors, even if it was covered. I think it might warp. If it's veneer, and I don't know, but veneer will buckle in humidity over time.
