Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's a Beautiful Chair but......... Although this is a beautiful chair, it was quite difficult to put together. There was trouble with the holes lining up; the steps outlined were a lot to be desired. I had to take the chair apart twice to get it to be secure and tight. Very hard area to try and get the screws into. This is a product that should be put together by a professional prior to shipping to the customer...without any additional charge. All in all, it took me two hours to put it together correctly and securely.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As expected Nice chair, I wanted a Navy chair to use with a small writing desk in the bedroom, this works perfectly, the color is not quite as dark a navy as I thought from the picture but it looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable Good Looking Chairs I spent several months looking around for a pair of chairs that I could use in a home office setting. I'm a wedding photographer and videographer who has clients into their home for meetings and post wedding sales sessions. As such, I wanted something a bit higher end looking than what you find at big box stores. But at the same time, I didn't want to spend a couple hundred bucks per chair either like in a real furniture store. I saw these in my local store and thought they looked awesome but was still hesitant at the MSRP. Recently there was an online sale with a significant percentage off and I didn't hesitate. Shipping to my local store took a little over a week from the time I ordered. Arrived in a big box, well packed. Upon opening the box and removing the package contents, everything was well protected and there was no damage to any of the components. Also all required items per the parts list were included as well. The Navy Blue color is rich looking and not too dark. I know sometimes Navy Blue is closer to black in terms of darkness, but these are several shades lighter I'd say. Overall construction of these chairs was excellent. I've assembled a lot of furniture from a certain Swedish big name furniture store as well as a big name online retailer, and I believe the construction quality of these chairs is significantly better than chairs I've assembled from them. Additionally, the wood on these is real wood. Not particle board or MDF etc. Assembly was straightforward and the first one went together in less than 10 minutes. The second one was a tad bit longer because I ran into some issues with the threads. 3 of the holes for mounting the cushion to the chair back were very tight and I had to really use some force to get the bolts to go in. But once I got though that (must have been manufactured slightly out of tolerance or something), assembly was super easy. As noted, I'm not using these at all for dining room settings and they look incredible I think. If you want some nice general purpose seating, I highly recommend these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful On line photos are good but the chair looks even better in person. Very comfortable and not hard to put together. They arrived when promised and were well packed. Will probably buy two more soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value! I got these discounted, so they were a great deal for the price. After I put the first one together, the others went together very easily. They look great with my antique dark oak table!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing chairs! I love these Navy Chairs!! I bought 2 of them for my office (as guest chairs). They were easy to put together (it took me 1/2 hour to put 2 of them together from scratch), they are beautiful looking and they are comfortable. I've gotten so many compliments on them and you can't beat the price! The quality of them looks like I paid double of what I really paid. I would highly recommend these!!

Do these chairs come assembled?

Asked by: Ashley
No but they are easy to put together. You just screw the legs on. The instructions were a little confusing but I eventually figured it out. The bottom of the chairs are Velcro so you have to pull it off even where it's stapled to get the legs in.

What kind of fabric are these chairs upholstered with?

Asked by: Bobbi
I don't know the exact fabric other than it is a soft twill like material I think that seems pretty robust upon touch. It's smooth upon running your hand across it. Doesn't feel cheap.

Any weight limit?

What weight can chair support?
Asked by: MaggieGio
At least 300 pounds. My overweight friend sat on these chairs and he is approximately 300 pounds. They held up just fine.

Color of the legs

Hi, I'm considering pairing this chair with the Indigo Ikat. If I search for espresso both this navy one comes up as well as the indigo ikat. However, this navy one says mahogany legs....can you clarify? Our kitchen has espresso cabinets so trying to match. Thanks!
Asked by: Tanya
These are definitely lighter than a typical Espresso finish. They are a rich mahogany color and several shades lighter than espresso. I have 2 espresso BHG bookshelves in my office and these are no where near that color. I'm actually swapping my bookshelves out to black ones so the contrast is even greater between the navy blue/mahogany chairs and the bookshelves (cubes).
