beautiful piece but "lacqing" Piece is lacquered; that fact is not mentioned nor obvious on-line. Canvas would be perfect if it had a matte finish; then the description of "muted earth tones" would be more accurate. There are surprise touches of greenish turquoise in the washed apprearance of its surface which are also not obvious on-line but pleasantly revealed in person. Overall, the canvas is moving - literally - you are put in touch with the motion & power of the subject. Good piece to fill large area - over dresser, bed, etc. Can't help loving it. May 20, 2013
