Looks High End This piece looks like you paid big bucks. The metal scrolls add just the right touch. The color is more of a light brownish mustardy color not the off white in one of the pictures. Love this piece gives my home the spanish villa flair I am going for. May 19, 2013

Good quality, color online inaccurate This is a beautiful piece of furniture. It is well made and sturdy. Online there are 2 photos. Each photo is a different color of wood. I called the 800# and asked which photo is the "true" color. Based on what I was told the color worked for my home decor. When it arrived at the store it was actually the more "yellow/butter" color vs the more ivory/tan color. This would not work with my decor. The store happily refunded my money with no issues. March 30, 2013

I'd like to use this cabinet behind a chair and a half that's 48" wide. Since the length of this cabinet is 46" I know it's the right length. But I'm concerned about the scale of the cabinet; will it be too big to place behind a chair and half and 'float' in a room?

I really don't think it would be an issue, but it all depends on your room and everything else you have in it.

Shipping is free to the store and no restocking fee if you return it. My suggestion would be to order, ship to your store, take it home and if it does not work you can receive a full refund.

In my opinion this table is too large to go behind a sofa. It is a bit tall and probably is best against a wall (like pictured)

We would use those 2 shelves for our large receiver, and the large CD 'jukebox' that holds and plays 500 CDs. It will be pretty heavy once loaded.

The bottom shelf is about 11" wide so check the width of your receiver. I wouldn't put anything that heavy on the upper shelf it doesn't appear to be able to hold that much weight.

do you need a truck to pick up or can it be loaded into an suv or the like and get it home and then put together? again..how much assembly do you need to do and what exactly do you put together?

I picked this up in my suv (Explorer). The only assembly needed is putting on the feet. I think it's real wood.
