Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Clock This clock is stunning! I have it in my living room and it definitely makes a statement. I did, however, take the advise of a previous reviewer and I added some gold paint around the face and rim. It was like putting jewelry on it! Love it! May 5, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by very beautiful Not tortoise at all but in the picture it doesn't seem to have that color that's why I purchased because it was a dark brown color, very beautiful clock. Did take long for me to receive it but other than that very pleased. March 31, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not as described The clock is the size described, but it was described to have a tortoise shell finish. The finish is dark brown, almost black. No tortoise shell. Hands are a darker color than shown in picture. I waited a couple weeks for this item, and did not want to start s new search. Works fine. Looks nice. But it does not match the description February 5, 2016

Answer:
I hung it on a regular nail but had to make sure it stuck out about an inch because of the rim on the clock. I too found myself scratching my head to see what would work and because the clock isn't heavy I could leave the nail sticking out far enough to catch it in the hole. Of course it took a few tries to get it lined up perfectly with the nail but it works once you do,. Good luck with it.

Answer:
Yes, I had to leave the nail sticking out a little further than I originally thought in order to hang it. The clock Is not very heavy so it worked. It did take a little patience to finally get the nail in the hole behind the clock but it looks great now that it is done and worth the effort.
