Rated 3 out of 5 by Can't read the time The colors on the clock hands is the same as the face so its almost impossible to tell the time. February 19, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful and affordable I have this clock on my mantle and I love it. It is very dark in color however. Looks gorgeous with light from a window shines on it. October 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The details on this clock are so beautiful! I bought this clock because I was so amazed by the detailed design. It's a timeless looking piece for such an affordable price and looks perfect in my dining room! Unfortunately when I was hanging it, I dropped it and the glass shattered but I actually love it even more without the glass. You're able to really get a good look at the details and it makes it a bit more "antique" looking. I truly enjoyed this purchase and can't wait to shop for more things at Kirkland's! October 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Quality I was a little nervous at first about purchasing a clock. However, the staff was extremely helpful and the clock went perfect with the other pictures we purchased here. The craftsmanship and quality were excellent for the price we paid for it. Sometimes when you purchase stuff not in a box you worry about possible scratches or dents from other people handling it. This looked like it had just came out of the box and the staff took special care to wrap it for me so when putting in my truck it did not scratch. October 27, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Pretty clock but the numbers are impossible to see. When you are right in front of the clock, looking directly at it, you can tell the time. But from anywhere else in the room it's next to impossible. The color of the face of the clock and the hands are too close in color and its hard to differentiate between them. Other an that, it's very pretty. It's more of a decor accent piece than a functional clock though, for the reasons stated above. I am going to try and take the clock apart to see if I can paint the face and numbers a lighter color. January 27, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This product is beautiful! We bought this clock when our other clock stopped working. We love it! It's beautiful. Everyone who walks in to our home thinks its beautiful. The only issues which to us our very minor is that the glass should be non-reflective and the numbers are a little hard to read in certain lights. But this really doesn't bother us because the clock was for our formal dinning room which we use mainly at night. So we recommend this clock. If you have a Kirkland's in your area go check it out in the store and you'll fall in love with it as well. December 22, 2014

Answer:
There's a spot in the back of the clock to hang it from. It's a small plastic piece with a hole in it for the nail or screw to do through. Just make sure the head of the nail or screw will fit through the hole before hanging.it takes some maneuvering to get it hung.

Answer:
We hung this clock up by drilling a screw into a stud. If you look on the back of the clock at the top there is a hole for a screw or nail. We recommend a screw into a stud as the clock is slightly heavy. And we felt a nail wasn't strong enough.

I like the clock, but even on here its hard to see the time. Is it possible to get inside the clock and either paint the hands or the numerals a more contrasting color? Without damaging it of course.

Hi Justy,

We would not recommend opening the clock and trying to re-assemble; it may not work after doing so. We apologize for any inconvenience!

Thank you for reaching out to us, we hope this helps!

We are planning to put this clock on our mantel. We have a stone fireplace and my husband does not really prefer drilling a hole on the stone to wall mount the clock so I am thinking of getting a stand for the clock. My only concern is: if the clock is on a stand, it will be slightly at an angle and not flat on a wall - will this affect the clock's function at all?
(I apologize if that was a dumb question.)

the clock is freestanding! It comes on its own 'base' and very sturdy- no hanging or separate stand required. We have it on our mantle.
