“It’s true, Christmas can feel like a lot of work, particularly for mothers. But when you look back on all the Christmases in your life, you’ll find you’ve created family traditions and lasting memories. Those memories, good and bad, are really what help to keep a family together over the long haul.” – Caroline Kennedy
This quote really hits home for me. My family’s Christmas traditions form some of my sweetest memories and helped to shape the person that I am today. Each year my mother buys everyone (guests included) matching jammies to wear throughout the day while we play puzzles or watch movies. We also spend afternoons decorating and preparing for our time together. I am so grateful for these holiday moments created in the home that I grew up in, which is why I love the Christmas Traditions Collection so much.
These traditional items have a touch a rustic charm that reminds me of my childhood home. From plaid to burlap to piney greens, these elements combine to create a comforting and cheerful atmosphere. This collection inspired my trip down memory lane, which is reminiscent of this beautifully styled front porch. They are both representative of my fondest holiday memories and provide the perfect inspiration to begin holiday decorating. I hope that you ‘Love the look’ and stay posted for more holiday decorating ideas to come!
