It’s the week of florals and flowers here on the myKirkland’s Blog! As you may recall, on Monday Ryan filled you in on a few tips about Decorating with Spring Flowers.
Today, blogger Cyndy Aldred from The Creativity Exchange shares her easy how-to for perfect floral arrangements.
Anyone can create the perfect floral arrangement and centerpiece with this quick and easy trick using Scotch tape.
For this centerpiece, I used Kirkland’s Honeycomb Mercury Glass Candleholder (it’s on sale today for $4.97) and a dozen hot-pink roses.
Simply make a grid with the tape across the top of your container and attach the tape to lip of the container like this:
Rub the edge of the tape at the lip to ensure that it’s attached securely and simply fill with your flowers after you cut to size.
The tape holds each individual flower in place, and the grid ensures that the flowers are equally spaced. Whether you’re using all the same flowers or mixing flowers and filler, you will always have a beautiful, balanced centerpiece each time with this little trick.
Thanks to Cyndy for her simple how-to on the perfect floral arrangements! Read more on her blog, The Creativity Exchange.
Please note: Cyndy uses the Honeycomb Mercury Glass Candleholder and fresh flowers in her project. When arranging fresh flowers, we suggest selecting from our collection of vases to properly allow for water in the arrangement. Otherwise, we suggest arranging artificial flowers to ensure the care of the candleholder.
