The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate! Despite being a month away, it’s never too early to start planning for a holiday party. Planning in advance gives you the opportunity to add decorative details that make a party go from great, to fabulous!

Blue Gatorade Frost
1.) Fill the glass or drink dispenser with ice.
2.) Pour in the cranberry juice.
3.) Pour in the blue Gatorade Frost. You MUST pour it onto some of the ice cubes or the juice will mix!
4.) Pour in the Diet 7-Up (Also pour onto ice cubes).
TIP: Use beverage dispensers and mason jars for cups to add flare!

16 Skewer Sticks
- Place 7 blueberries on the skewer than alternate marshmallows and raspberries.
- Alternate 7 raspberries and 6 marshmallows, beginning and ending with a raspberry.
Tip: You can opt for cut strawberries and bananas instead of raspberries and marshmallows!
Very Berry Trifle:
We came upon a great 4th of July recipe from blogger, Saving with Shellie, at http://bit.ly/1jQSIFp. This recipe is tasty and red, white and blue all over!
1 C. Sugar
½ C. Butter, softened
1 ½ C. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
½ C. Milk
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 lb. Fresh Strawberries
4 Pints of Fresh Blueberries
Containers for Berry Trifle
1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3.) Pour batter into greased and lightly floured 9×13 baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
2.) Combine sugar, butter, vanilla, milk and eggs and mix well. Stir in flour and baking powder. Mix well.
4.) Place cake in fridge for a few hours to cool.
5.) Once the cake is cool, remove it from the baking dish and cut into small chunks and set aside. Next, rinse your berries and slice the strawberries.
6.) Begin layering your cups. Start with a layer of cake; next add the strawberry slices, then a layer of whipped cream and finally a layer of blueberries. Repeat.
7.) Top with whipped cream and some extra fruit.
