Raise your hand if your New Year’s resolution is to get organized… (my hand is raised!). Raise your hand again if this has been your resolution year after year and you are still not organized… (my hand is raised again). If you are anything like me, getting organized isn’t always easy to accomplish. The thought of cleaning out my pantry or straightening my desk is overwhelming, and the idea of somehow making more storage is unfathomable… so I thought!
It turns out that I just need to “get it together” with a few of these easy solutions.
#2: We resolve to help you get it together!
Take advantage of space with wheels! A rolling cart is the perfect way to declutter with function and ease. Not only does it allow you to easily access your desired items, but the limited space makes it so only essentials can be displayed and prevents declutter. This type of organization piece is great for a traveling office, dish storage or craft center.
Decorate and get organized at the same time with furniture that is both stylish and functional. You will not only get rid of any declutter or mess but also give your room a new look. Plus the added touch of baskets will help keep everything in it place and the mess from spreading.
Glass storage jars with lids are the ultimate pantry tool. They are perfect for storing dry ingredients and keeping your shelves organized. Make it a craft project and create labels for the canister set to eliminate any confusion and give your pantry a stylish look. (Note: These jars are also perfect for you bathroom for storing cotton balls and q-tips!)
Whether you are organizing a closet or office, use baskets, boxes and magazine files to make the most out of your organization. Making sure everything has an exact place will prevent clutter in tight spaces. AND don’t forget to utilize labels to making finding what you need fast and easy!
What other ways can you help me and everyone else “get it together?”
