We are ringing in the new year by resolving to help YOU! Throughout the month we will share 4 ways that we plan to help you beat the January blues and get 2014 started off on the right track.
#1: We resolve to help you save some dough!
If your holidays were anything like ours, your belly is full, but your pocket book may be feeling a little empty.
If this is the case, adding a few money saving techniques to your routine could prove to be beneficial. Whether your goal is to pay off your Christmas credit card debt or to put more money away for your retirement, I have found each of the following digital resources helpful in creating and maintaining my budget goals. Put that phone, tablet or computer that you just got from Santa to use for YOU by downloading these apps!
- LearnVest: You can use LearnVest to help you make a budget or to get a better understanding of where you are spending the most (and least) money. It is a safe, well designed and easy-to-use app available on iTunes. Go for it!
- Mint; Mint is a FREE service that allows you to see all of your accounts in one place. You can also set up text alerts and other features to remind you when certain bills are due (which is what I find most helpful).
- Google Wallet: If you are a fan of loyalty programs or seem to use a lot of gift cards, Google Wallet is for you. The app allows you to carry all of your cards in one place. You can also send (and receive) money from friends within the US. I have not personally tried this feature, but I do like the idea of getting money from my friends…. so, who is next? : )
And if these don’t help, you can always check out our Annual Big Sale where are you sure to find an item or two on sale. If Big Sale doesn’t interest you, this is all I have left…
